Dear Karl and Barbara: You are very special people doing a very special job. We praise the Lord for you and your entire staff at Aadvantage. During the past two years, my father had the best of care in a warm, loving, and home-like atmosphere. There was laughter and, at times, some frustration but he was always cared for with gentleness and sensitivity. When I would have questions, the staff was always there to help and Barbara was always there to offer advice. For this, we thank you and your wonderful staff. Your coorperation and willingness to allow us to call in hospice services during F.'s last days as an alternative to moving him elsewhere is appreciated beyond my ability to express thanks. F.'s last days were pain-free and as peaceful as possible thanks to the staff who gave my dad special loving care and attention. The entire family appreciates the quality of care that was afforded Mother during her stay at Blueberry, which made her final years most pleasant. Dear Barbara: After entertaining at your facility, I felt compelled to write and offer you my congratulations. I have entertained at over 50 facilities since founding Performance and Entertainment Program (PEP) for Adult Care Facilities last July. Your facility is top-notch! Not only is it beautiful and a tastefully appointed home, but it is immediately apparent that you have created a nurturing and loving environment for you residents. I have noticed the other entertainment you bring in, as well as the activities that are offered to keep the residents engaged in a stimulating environment - so necessary to combat the depression that is often found in this segment of population. It is obvious that you care deeply not only for their physical well-being, but as importantly for the emotional and social well-being and comfort of all your residents. When my friends, H. and E., recently told me of their efforts to find a facility for H.'s mother, they related that there was nothing that seemed appropriate and they were discouraged in their desire to find a suitable alternative living environment for her. I then told them of your wonderful facility and urged them to call and make an appointment to view the location, before they gave up hope. Of course, the happy ending is that they were thrilled and will be moving H.'s mother to the facility next week. I feel privileged to be invited as a regular entertainer, as I know you select only the best available entertainment for them. I appreciate your confidence in me and assure you that I also care deeply about connecting with each individual resident and will always strive to make my time with them enjoyable, meaningful and memorable.
